Aurico Drug Screening is a third party drug test program administrator and will support your company in the development and maintenance of an effective drug screening program. We maintain the largest national affiliation of collection sites for drug testing and will identify collection sites that correspond to your facility locations.
Completed reports, including drug test results, are available 24/7 on our Web-based system at www.aurico.com. All negative reports are available within 24 hours of receipt at the testing facility. Positive results will be available within 48 hours of initial non-negative result (holidays and weekends excluded).
Wayne Hovland is the Vice President of Aurico Drug Screening. He spent 34 years with the Chicago Police Department and wrote the investigative process on positive employee drug tests. He then developed the department's random drug testing program and was placed in command of this unit until his retirement from the Department. Upon retirement, Mr. Hovland was hired as a consultant by Psychemedics, the world's largest hair testing company. In this position, he worked with the police departments in New York, Boston, Philadelphia, San Francisco and Los Angeles in the development and implementation of their drug testing programs. He also presents a nationally recognized program on drug recognition for supervisors, which he has presented to numerous Fortune 500 Companies. This program is DOT Compliant for mandated supervisor training.

URINE TESTING
Urine testing has been the standard test for drugs of abuse since the early 1980’s. It is widely accepted and is the designated test for DOT required testing. We can provide both DOT compliant urine testing and non-DOT employment urine testing.
ORAL FLUID TESTING (DRUGS OF ABUSE)
Oral fluid testing for drugs of abuse is the newest alternative testing available. It comes with the advantage of collectability by your staff with minimal training. It saves man hours in travel time while providing roughly the same results as urine testing. It is an excellent tool for after hours testing or for remote site testing.
ORAL FLUID TESTING (ALCOHOL)
This is a tremendous tool for use in DOT mandated alcohol testing. 95% of all DOT mandated alcohol tests are negative. The use of this on site test can greatly reduce the lost man hours involved in sending a worker for a Breath Alcohol Test (BAT). Although any positive on the oral fluid alcohol test must be confirmed by a BAT, the screening of non-positive employees thru this test will have a positive effect on productivity.
HAIR TESTING
Hair testing is an especially useful tool in pre-employment testing. A hair sample will show a pattern of drug use going back approximately 90 days. It can be collected by your staff, at the time of the interview.
PROGRAM DESIGN
Aurico can assist you in the design of a drug testing program, whether the program needs to be DOT compliant or not. We will work with you in designing a program that meets your particular needs.
RANDOM SELECTIONS
Aurico can work with your payroll department and manage a random selection program for your company. If you need a DOT compliant program, we will insure you are provided with the needed audit figures.
SUPERVISOR’S DRUG RECOGNITION TRAINING
Many unions feel any supervisor who is going to order an employee to submit to a reasonable suspicion drug test, should have training in recognizing the signs of drug use. Aurico can provide on site, court defensible, drug recognition training.
