Aurico’s records services are aligned with our philosophy for thorough detailed reporting.  In addition, the industry average for criminal hit rates is between 7-8%. Meanwhile, 20% of the adult population in the U.S. has a criminal record.  Aurico exceeds industry hit rates and provides results that align with the adult population, which also helps reduce your risk.

County Criminal Felony & Misdemeanor

Looks for occurrences of a person’s name in the county criminal record repository. Also includes any active warrants and open court cases listed on the court docket. New York state law requires a statewide criminal search in lieu of a county criminal search for residents of New York.

Statewide Criminal Report

Looks for occurrences of a person’s name in statewide criminal repositories held by each state. This repository consists of a collection of records from all counties in the state. Generally not as accurate as county reports, and many states do not keep complete case information. While useful in targeting every county in a state, a record should be verified for accuracy at the county level. Statewide reports vary greatly in turnaround time, from same-day service to eight weeks. Not available in all states.

Multi-Jurisdictional Index Search

A premier database report that searches for occurrences of a person’s name in one quick search across the country. It combs through more than 300 million criminal records from county and state databases, Departments of Corrections records, national and international terrorism sources, banking and financial regulatory sanctions.

Going a step further, we include a LIVE search of the National Sex Offender Public Registry—including all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Guam and Puerto Rico. This is not archived information, but a fresh search of the registry for the most accurate and current information available. In addition, knowing that results often yield partial or out-of-date information, we drill down to the county where the record occurred for accurate and verified results.

Federal Criminal Search – National

A national search of U.S. district Court criminal records. A search of the federal court for any criminal records pertaining to an applicant. This report also includes any active warrants and open cases listed on the court docket. Federal courts can be searched by district, state or nationally. Most companies will search the courts for records and report any records located based solely on a name match.

Aurico goes further if necessary, contacting attorneys and other sources to verify that the social security number matches that of the applicant, validating accuracy of the record.

National Sex Offender Registry

A live, national search for registered sexual offenders. Please note that some states have restrictions on use and dissemination of this data.

Patriot Act Report

The U.S.A. Patriot Act of 2001 mandates that no U.S. company shall do business with any person or entity that has been determined to have committed, or poses a risk of committing or supporting terrorist acts, and/or those identified on the list of Specially Designated Nationals (SDN) and Blocked Persons List (BPL), generated by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC). In addition to the required OFAC check, our report compiles information from other agencies and terrorist watch lists including the FBI, CIA, State Department, INTERPOL, Canadian, British and Australian watch lists, as well as other domestic and international agencies.

County Civil Litigation

A search of the county for any records of civil litigation involving your applicant. Civil records are often verified by name only. If the courts are split, Aurico searches the upper court records.

Federal Civil Litigation

A search of federal courts for any records of civil litigation involving an applicant. Civil records are often verified by name match only. Federal courts can be searched by district, state or nationally.

Fingerprinting

We provide LiveScan digital fingerprinting at our headquarters location for both state and federal programs. This includes hazardous material drivers, state license applicants such as mortgage loan originators, teachers, financial entities such as brokers and more.
