Joel Goldberg, CEO, brings a unique understanding to the needs of the Human Resource professional and the Security Department. For the past 25 years, he has worked as a business owner, employer and during his tenure in the United States Navy worked in Naval Intelligence with a top-secret clearance.
Robert Faerber, COO, has a background in international business, employment screening and information technology. He has worked as an executive in Europe, Central America and Asia, owned an Information Technology company and was President of an international logistics company. Mr. Faerber is also a licensed private investigator.
Ben Goldberg, President, owned a payroll, HRIS and HR consulting company prior to joining the executive team at Aurico. He spent ten years in senior management with a Fortune 50 company expanding the international sales division. He holds an MBA from Colorado State University. He is FCRA certified through the Consumer Data Industry Association (CDIA).
Wayne Hovland, Vice President Drug Screening, has developed third- party administrator programs for local, national and international clients. Mr. Hovland spent 34 years with the Chicago Police Department. While there he wrote the investigative process on positive employee drug tests. Next, he developed the department's random drug testing program. He was placed in command of this unit until he retired. Upon retirement, he was hired as a consultant by Psychemedics, the world's largest hair testing company, where he worked with the police departments in New York, Boston, Philadelphia, San Francisco and Los Angeles in the development and implementation of their drug testing programs.
Barbara Roppolo, Vice President, has 20 years of industry experience conducting investigative due diligence to obtain the most accurate and detailed information on employee history. She maintains multiple assessment certifications for design and development of competency models and currently oversees the research and assessment divisions.
Laura Randazzo, Vice President Compliance, has held senior management positions with three background screening companies prior to joining Aurico. With over 20 years of industry experience, her responsibilities have included overseeing all internal and external operations related to background investigations, technology integration, customer service, and compliance. She holds an Illinois Private Detective Class 1 license. She has held the position of Chair on the Board of Directors with the National Association of Professional Background Screeners (NAPBS) and has testified as an expert witness involving negligent hiring and non-compliance. She holds NAPBS FCRA Advanced certification.
Mireya Garza, Vice President Operations, joined Aurico in 2002 and has held various operational roles of increasing responsibility. She has led the development of operational work flow processes and procedures to maximize efficiencies and turnaround times while maintaining Aurico's commitment to high quality reports and client service. Ms. Garza completed her education and internships at Universidad PolitecnicaSalesiana and FacultadLatinoamericana de CienciasSociales FLACSO in Ecuador and is FCRA certified through the Consumer Data Industry Association (CDIA). She is fluent in Spanish and English.
